The engine is a proper Hart 420R on mechanical injection and dyno only miles. It was built by Xtec Engineering in the UK ( and I would be more than happy for someone to talk to them about the engine and spec. It was built with new crank, rods, pistons and sump.
The chassis is #2 which is the ex Warwick works car from 1980. The full story is I purchased another Toleman a number of years ago (with unknown history) and started to rebuild it. I then got the opportunity to purchase the #2 car which I did. Unfortunately it was in a rather sorry and manipulated state so I have built a car utilising the best of everything I had. The gearbox is original FT200 (gearbox number confirmed by Hewland to have been sold to Toleman in  winter 1979).
As a consequence of my rather elongated way of completing the project the car does come with a significant spares package which effectively includes a rolling chassis (disassembled) excluding gearbox. There are numerous sets of wheels and spare bodywork also.
This car is currently in the United Kingdom and is available for viewing.  The description above is from the current owner and restorer.  Please contact me if you are interested.
